Cooker hob rest for glass cover (1 Viewer)

We have “lost” one of the rubber buffers on our cooker hob that takes the weight of the glass cover when in the closed position. I have trawled the internet, (to the best of my, admittedly, limited ability), and can’t source a replacement. Perhaps I am using the wrong terminology.

Before I try to make one, (I am concerned that standard rubber products may melt or burn), can anyone suggest a supplier, please?
