Auto Trail Cheyenne
Hi guys this is my first post. I have just bought my first motorhome a Fiat Auto Trail 2003. I have a question about the cooker, its fitted with a Caprice 2040E model OH64000 I cannot get the bottom door open. There is a symbol of a hand which I assumed you pressed to release the door but nothing happens, am I doing something wrong? I need it open as the mains switch for the fridge is behind it. Hope you can help TIA

:hiya:
I think I have that model, the bottom door has a push to shut, push to open type catch. Ours also has the 240 socket underneath which I keep permanently off due to stories about the knob being turned on when brushing against it !

Have found this photo of what it could look like. I wonder if something inside has jammed preventing you from pushing it enough to release. How to solve it though is a tricky one.

Thanks for that looks like it could be the catch, hopefully I can release it somehow.

Could be a baking tray or similar put in there for storage and has wedged between the door and back of cupboard.
If the door won't push in to release you may have to remove any fixings and pull the oven forwards a little to releive any pressure on the door.

Cheers looks like I have a busy day tomorrow
