Super easy and works great every time! Take 1/2 cup ammonia and pour into a large zip bag. Place single drip pan or burner in each bag with ammonia. Seal closed and put on your back patio in a sunny area. Make sure to put down on cement, not a glass surface. Let it sit there for 24 hrs.
Retrieve your bags and dump the ammonia out. Preferably outside if possible. Keep away from eyes and nostrils. This stuff is potent!
Before rinsing them off, take a cloth and wipe them clean. You may have to put a little elbow grease to it if they are stubborn stains. Mine were stubborn so I had to do some scrubbing but never had to use a scrub brush or pad.
Afterwards, you may have some residue left that looks spotty. Rinse the pans or burners off. With them being very wet, sprinkle some baking soda on them. Wet your hands and pat around them to make a paste. Use your fingers in a circular motion and the rest comes right off!
