Hi all,
We are Joe and Sue Shardelow, we have joined your ranks having been caravanners for many years.
We have a W reg Autotrail Chieftain, having been used to fixed beds and plenty of space, especially with the 2 dogs, it seems to suit us fine.
We enjoy weekends away and want to get to some 40's and 50's themed weekends, so if there are any please let us know
Thanks and hope to meet soon
Joe and Sue

Hello and welcome from Bedfordshire.
It is quite a big change from owning a caravan, something that may take time to discover. One of the biggest bonuses may come if and when you become independent from campsites. Having your own electricity, water and gas are not cheap but if you begin to use BritStops and Aires overseas, the advantages can be very worthwhile. We carry a couple of bikes (electric) which allow us to park outside of towns and explore without worrying about inner city parking.
