HTH can one send a message to another Member ... when there's no option in the Inbox?

Have you tried clicking your user name,next to inbox,and clicked on 'conversations'
for a different approach ?

Click on your user name beside inbox and on the right is conversation. click on that and see if that works

Yes, still get the same screen ...I've set and reset loadsa times ...

try clicking on name of person you want to PM and then click in the profile box that comes up start conversation ?

Have you clicked on your name on the dark blue bar and then "contact details" is "accept conversations from" highlighted and then "members"

After that I give in.

I've used the one conversation showing in my inbox to contact Jim, that's in addition to raising a 'ticket'.
(I'm aware that he has other important stuff on with his family so I'll bide me time for now.)

I think it must be in your set up choices , as when I click on your name the option for me to start a conversation with you does not appear HTSH

If you hover over your name in the dark blue bar at top you will get a box come up with sig , privacy etc etc one of the headings is contact details in there is a question about accepting
conversations you need to tick accept conversations box and select from who

I've gone over those choices time and time again making sure that all doors are open, nowt more I can do at this stage.
