It really depends on when and when you go. We've paid less than €10 per night and up to €30. Some sites charge twice this.

If you travel out of school holiday times then it's best to invest in the yearly ACSI camping book

Or if you dont need facilities on site if you have your own built in then most aires are free or only a couple of Euros. We managed 10 nights in France for the tour de france and only actually paid for 2.

Really good deals in Spain during winter the longer you stay the cheaper it gets.

€7 to €70 depending on time and location. €20 a good average if you take care.

Hi John and welcome from :france:
You have found the best forum for information and won't do better than ordering an ACSI book and card from Vicarious books, will give you all the info and prices you need.
Good luck.

Hi John, you made the right first decision by asking for advice from this club. You can't get better than this.
We have found pretty much the same as others; free Aires are common out of season, campsites are cheaper too, but somewhat surprisingly to English campers, the French tend to shut up shop after a very short season when we, with their weather, would be open all year! Prices in Spain in Winter, especially for long stays, are excellent value. Get the Aires books, get an ACSI card, and don't be afraid to wing it. You will always find somewhere, and even if you do need help, Motorhome Fun will be there. Gary
