Has anyone here used the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to reject a motorhome and request a refund. We bought a brand new Chausson Welcome Traveline 611 in April last year. We have had 14 different issues with it including leaks and a broken bathroom door and have had an ongoing problem with the engine which intermittently has a loss of power. The retailer tells us that this many problems with a new van is not unusual. As this is our ninth van we can categorically say that having 14 different problems with a van is unusual in our experience. Has anyone got any advice on this issue? Many thanks

Don't quote me but two of the key questions here are is it fit for purpose and is it as described? It doesn't sound fit for purpose, so that might be your way in.

There are three magic words that can have an amazing effect on anybody selling you a crap product or service - "Trading Standards Office".
