Hi can any funster advise me if it is OK to connect a Banner 95AH AGM battery to a Banner 80/90AH lead Acid battery (leak-proof) the reason I ask is that I have the 95ah AGM battery and a new one is nearly twice the price of the lead acid one.
Any advice appreciated

No different battery types cannot be used together as their charging requirements are different
The AH is not the issue

+1 on Andy's post, batteries of the same type, voltage and condition can be parallelled, the ampere-hours ratings should be as close as possible but do not have to be axactly matching.

Sorry Peter.....ah difference does not matter....condition, age and voltage do matter.
The charger and electrical system only see a mix of different battery capacities as one large battery.

95ah plus 100ah plus 80ah.....1 x 275ah battery
