DS with a V Dub on top ...... cool in a weird kind of way ?

I’ve always admired the way Citroen has often dared to be different. Especially these days when all cars seem to end up looking the same.

Would a 1970 vehicle have been built so low? To me it looks like a 1950's space rocket design or a current build like on one of the many US car shows

It might well rise up on the suspension once the engine starts if so very practical for a MH

I love It.
Just think how much rust it would have if it went the same way as most 70's Citroens :giggle:

Love it!
A friend and I do a thing called "car porn Monday" where we share photos of weird and wonderful vehicles on a Monday, think I have found this weeks entry???

Don’t forget the DS had hydropnumatic suspension which pumps it up when you start it.
I love it, wether I’d want one ?

On my old Citroen the brakes and suspension were run from the same pump. So if you loaded your car up with heavy junk the suspension pump worked harder but your brakes worked better as well!

Changing the rear wheel looks interesting. Others cars with covered rear wheels often have panels you can take off to get to the wheel?

Bit of googling and it is a 1960s Citroen DS Tissier

But would it meet the new DVLA definition of motorhome?
