Hi Funsters, can anyone help with the wiring of my Intel D34223-002 socket LGA 775 4 pin CPU HEATSINK FAN, the four wires are coloured blue, green, yellow, black, I would like to use this as an assist to the air flow for my fridge vent on my Bessacarr E560 but not sure which wires are which, thanks in anticipation

Yellow is usually a speed sensor and black should be ground. Try 12v on the other 2 one by one.. That's what I'd do anyway?

Or this link, but exactly the same (black - negative, yellow - positive)

Generally they are -
Yellow : +12V
Black : GND
White : rotation sensor
Red : PWM input

the white and red can be substituted for green and blue.

Depends on manufacturer then..

I'd go with Wissel's diagram first ?

Hi mate.
Apparently there is now a kit for this at about £45.
But I did it the way you are thinking.
Got a £2.50 control box 100mm X 75mm
and wired it to 2 computer fans, but my fans only had 2 leads.
Good luck.
Mitch.
