Just bought my first campervan - a Toyota Hiace LWB Hi Top, 3L Turbo Diesel, dealer imported in 2005. Very pleased to find this forum as I have lots of things I don't understand, and reading a few threads it's great to see so much help and advice offered. :)

Here it is:

It was delivered yesterday and I've been trying to find things like user manuals for the various bits and pieces, and to work out how to turn things on/off etc.

So, hi to everyone and thanks to all who make and contribute to this forum.

Hi.gif
and a warm welcome. Hope you can get the information that you are looking for. There must be other Toyota owners on this site who have a handbook/manual. What, specifically, do you want to know?

Many thanks to all for the kind words of welcome. :) I've managed so far to a) find the Leisure battery b) turn the lights on in the rear of the vehicle c) extract the Thetford cannister d) find the fridge/freezer model and download a manual for it.

There is a switch panel which I'm not sure of, and a few other bits and pieces, including a space-ship shaped aerial on the roof. There is a tv but it's power supply isn't present. I will do some more investigating, read loads of the useful stuff on threads in the other forums on here, and then take some pictures of the bits I'm baffled by and ask some naive questions. ;-)

Thanks again for the kind welcome. Much appreciated. :)
