Campbell (Transport museum) definitely worth a visit. We went earlier this year and really enjoyed it.

Beamish is great. You need a couple of days to see all of it. Parking at Beamish is easy peasy, plenty of space even for large vans.

I have never stayed overnight, but there is a ton of space to park. It would be a good place to overnight if allowed. You could go onto their website and ask the question.

Hey John! When will you be in St Austell? The Britannia is a regular haunt of us and our Cornish family. We'll be there mid September. Xx

There is no overnight camping at Beamish, John, other than as part of organised rallies.

C&CC (Durham DA) have a rally there 11-13 September and MCC are there October 2nd to 5th.
