When I was in the trade, I used a lot of comma oils and would often get a freebie injection cleaner thrown in with the order,
So used it quite frequently over years but I can honestly say I didn't notice much difference to the overall running, but the way I looked at it was that the 250ml liquid was extra usable fuel in the tank,
But if it hadn't been a freebie I wouldn't put my hand in my pocket!
The only two that seemed to work well we're Wynns injection cleaner and Forte cleaner, this I might add is my totally unscientific findings for what it's worth,

Diesel Magic is commonly used in the trade to lower emissions at MOT time. I always drop one in to a very low tank prior to Mot.

Since July 2013 but been camping for 25+ years
I've heard but nothing reports about this service - https://a1-terraclean.co.uk - a bit more expensive than a bottle of 'stuff' but supposed to be very effective in cleaning the inner workings of your engine.
BTW Wynns & Forte is now all the same stuff (from a local rep who used to sell Forte) . . .

Excellent product, used it many many times when MOT testing, noticeable improvement if used with a low fuel tank level, give the engine a good run, job done.
I suspect that it works better with older type diesel engines, certainly did with my first Talbot Express 2.5D, I'm sure if it has the same effect on modern common rail diesels, it did on my Nissan XTrail, could be the answer to EGR valve problems. I would recommend it's use.
