Are fiat still churning out vans with the drivers footwell heater not working properly requiring a fix that you have to ask for not a recall, can only find old threads nothing newish

I am also interested in any comments about this. Our 2016 registered 2.3, 150, Autotrail has hardly any heat reaching the footwell no matter what directional setting used.

There was a thread on here a while back where someone had done a little conversion to distribute the heater vents more to the foot well.
I am not sure how to find it though.

I bookmarked the thread under the old forum system so now it’s gone:( I’ll go and look though.
there is no recall fix, it’s just that RHD conformatic has the heater outlet blocked off. We keep meaning to get around to doing something about it .

Found it

Now, I’m not sure that’s the one I had saved so I’ll go on looking!

Fiat don't use the Comfortmatic system on new vans produced since mid-2019. The heater on our new Fiat auto seems to work OK although it takes a while to get up to temperature.

This was the one ! I must bookmark it again.

Download the PDF from Derry Wilson it is great!
