Good Morning!

Picking up new(to us) Moho in a couple of weeks time,2006 Rapido 786F,so have been looking at insurance and breakdown cover.
Comfort look very competitive at £250 plus £62 for breakdown. Have had other quotes up to £560!

I've read the breakdown Conditions, which contain this exclusion: " Any vehicle which cannot be recovered by a standard trailer or transporter". Well, methinks that could mean just about anything!! And "standard "in one country may not be standard in another, etc.

The Rapido is 6.22 meters long so shouldn't be a problem,should it....(n)(n)(n)??

Any Funsters who have experience or advice on this, please let me know what you think.
Thanks.:)

We couldn't get breakdown on our 4.2t van with RAC until we joined comfort, They use aviva which use RAC,now they will cover breakdown with a 4.2t, ironically now we have gone down to 3.5t..
Still £700 odd though now without breakdown as we are using ADAC now, haven't used them YET, and hope I never will.

Getting Better
I'm with comfort and have had a breakdown, we are 6.5m and 4250t, RAC van came out and got us going, if it could not then they would have called in a bigger truck.... we were told this by the rac man and comfort..

Thanks folks, that is encouraging, looks like I'll go with them, unless I get a deluge of negative comments on here. Looks unlikely as lots of Funsters very busy on Brexit and the falling pound!:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

We're with Comfort and have a 7.5m van and have never had a problem being recovered even when we had a trailer.

Just to confirm what everyone else has said. We had our Hymer B678DL (7.5m) with Comfort and I did initially check with them that recovery would not be an issue in our case - they said "no problem". Fortunately we didn't have to use breakdown cover but hopefully that puts your mind at rest. If you're still in doubt give them a call - they really are very good from our personal experience.

See "Reviews" (dark blue bar at top). Comfort got quite a few good reviews, including from us, so of course happy to recommend as well.
But that's not to say they are the only good M/H insurers. Discussion shows different people have different experiences, something I have some trouble understanding.
