Comfort? Anyone managed to haggle with them?

Just had my renewal through with comfort for the Carthago, and it’s nearly £300 more than my previous Adria Sonic A class! I really can’t see the justification for the premium almost doubling!! Anyhow rung them up and they wouldn’t budge on price. NFU gave me a decent quote but no breakdown. Safeguard, caravan guard, and another that I can’t remember wouldn’t even quote me.

They would not move for me either but were well priced and more importantly really good for claims service.

We did NFU + separate RAC European cover (5t) not had to use it yet !

Was a fair bit cheaper than Safeguard quote

Wouldn't budge on price on my renewal but were competative on price which included breakdown which saved messing about looking for both.

We had exactly the same experience when we changed from the Hymer to the Flair, so because we weren't going abroad due to Covid,we went with NFU. Now that EU travel restrictions are lifted, we have gone with SAGA, incorporating their Motorhome specific policy, with EU breakdown cover and repatriation. Cancelling the Britannia Rescue has helped to offset the cost.

WESTY66 give LV= a call they actually reduced ours by over £100 this year £331.04 including full UK & EU breakdown. That’s on. 4 year old Hymer A class.
