im a newbie
it was cold this morning at 5am so have emptied water tank and boiler in motorhome, what about the toilet fluid ? or does it act like an antifreeze ? or is it best to empty ?

well over 5 years
we tend to empty everything if we are leaving the motorhome for any long length of time including toilets.


BUT why not join us at the Essex meet 22-24 November, its not too far for you xxxxxx

Our is going in for work to be done after that so we will drain everything down

Three years ago when we had a very long stretch of very cold weather everything in my camper froze except the Bacardi........ Shampoo, washing up liquid, blue stuff for the loo, coke, cider, shower gel, disinfectant, conditioner - anything that had been liquid became a solid block (apart from the Bacardi).

I fetched it all in and put in bowls to thaw, luckily I'd realised before there was a mess in the van to clear up and only a couple of things had burst their containers.

It had never happened before and not so far since, but I check every couple of days now if it is very cold.

Had water leaking from boil valve this morning should have drained it the manual says i does it at 4 deg c!
Should have left it plugged in!
Lots to learn only had her 2 weeks.
