Ok you lot. I put the leftover chips in the Micky for 1 minute lined them up on my bread, poured Heinz curry sauce over them and woofed the lot it was scrumptious. Our chippy has plenty of stock so next time probably Wednesday it will be large chips. Yes Lenny they were soggy I might try putting them in the oven next time to make them crispy.

The problem with a 'mix' is that mushy peas on the chips make the chips soggy - buy them seperately (y)

Ahh Lenny - a pea is a pea is a pea whether you eat them fresh, fresh as the moment that the pod went pop (aka frozen) tinned or dried. The only difference is that the dried ones are inedible unless reconstituted with water. I doubt their nutritional value except for the ubiquitous carbohydrate (bane of my life! LOL) but there again if you're eating a portion of chips and fish with batter, you're hardly worried about carbs, are you! :rofl:
