What a lovely dog you have there.

This is Ted, a Cockerpoo, but he's all cock and no poo. Our friends bought him for £650 but they didn't realise he's a second generation one, ie, he's the offspring of 2 cockerpoos breeding and not a poodle/cocker spaniel.
He is a second generation apparently and grandfather rights dictate that he could have been all poodle or all cocker spaniel.
He's a beauty though.
And he likes ice cream when he's on holiday.

First generation IE Spaniel bred with Poodle is known as an F1. Second generation where a Cockerpoo is bred with another one is known as an F2.

Your dog is stunning and IMO it matters not if they are F1 or F2....

These are after all cross breeds or mongrels so what does it matter ?

Our Noodle is F1 . His mum was a show cocker chosen because the heritage means a less lively dog. His dad was a champagne poodle. Our Noodle is absolutely blooming potty so the heritage never worked :D2

We love all dogs no matter what they are bred from.

You know you want one, no reason to stop you, you are touring around and no ties, perfect environment for a dog, loads of time to spend with it.

Aye but not sure it's fair to get a dog and immediately confine it to a van moving around. I had considered it but with the idea of trying to find work etc it might not be a good idea just now.

It's the reason I had to give up my cats when I moved in to the van full time

I love animals and having pets but I have to consider how they would like my lifestyle at present so I'll hold off till I'm settled again

Although the sad thing is your right in the sense I've more time now to spend with a dog than I've had in the past and I would have loved it for company not to mention exploring etc.....who knows maybe one will adopt me when I'm in Spain lol ....although that could open a whole other can of worms

We have a Schnoodle (Harry) first generation schnauzer/poodle - poodle from the neck down and schnauzer from the head up! He's either lying down so its hard to see his body shape, or a black blur because he's moving fast.

Lives with Poppy our Border Terrier - who dislikes all dogs except Harry (luckily)

This is Sonny my sons Sproodle, (Springer Spaniel/ Poodle) beauty of the crosses with Poodles is a highly intelligent dog that doesn’t moult.
We have Harry trimmed every 8 weeks, his coat needs to be kept short because its really soft and fluffy and matts terribly.

Sonny had a nice trim last week at 6 months old for Christmas, that was his second trim and he looked really cute but at £25 a throw I think my son will shortly be learning the art of grooming very quickly.

Well my two are my avatar. I love all dogs, but there is some thing about Cockerpoos that make me happy. They bring a smile to my face every single day. All your dogs are gorgeous.

Watch this space for puppy news. Fingers crossed

And @Northernraider a cockapoo would adore to travel with you. It would be a brilliant life for a dog. Full of adventure, exploration and the joy of spending all night by your side. THAT is sheer bliss for a cockapoo. More so than any other breed of dog I have owned.

It probably would but I've left it too late :(
