Cobra alarm problem. (1 Viewer)

I locked my van using a cobra alarm system on Sunday.
Normally the indicators flash twice, no sounds, and that's it.
It did lock, but the indicators flashed four times, along with four bleeps.
Since the the Alarm has developed a mind if its own, going off repeatedly from about 11pm.
I've just locked the van without putting the alarm on.
Ideas?

I found this on an unrelated forum but it does link to alarms/immobilisers:

Not sure if Toad and Cobra are related in any way?

I am not even sure if this info is helpful but might be worth a look at interior lights or doors that are ajar?

Disarm alarm, 4 flashes and bleeps indicates alarm triggered.
LED on dash flashes X times to indicate why it triggered.
Google will give you codes.

We get this sometimes if we mix up which fob has been used, Fiat or not cobra but Toad. Found too that the habitation and garage door sensors needed new batteries.

Our Cobra alarm goes daft if water gets into the bonnet sensor, it’s only a cheap button push affair with dodgy looking wiring. May be worth checking yours.

On tour in Wales and had a problem with mine it wouldn't turn off? Called out green flag who were prompt however mechanic hadn't got a clue so he cut the wire to the horn, jumped the stater and got me to follow him to a mates garage.
The garage recommend to have it ripped out in the morning about a 3 hour job so booked on a site 5 mins away and the garage was to collect the next morning.
While sitting that evening I googled the problem and followed a fob reprogramming instruction on YouTube for the fob, took a few minutes and all was working so saved a lot of money

I cannot remember now what the 4 beeps flashes mean, consult the user manual, but it means the circuit is broken at whatever point 4 flashes is. If you disarm it and it does the same it means it had activated at whatever point the number of flashes indicates.
