This alarm was fitted to my Motorhome as part of the "if I buy it" agreement. The only sensors are the ultrasonic ones fitted in the cab area. So can open the back door walk in a move about, but as soon as you get near the cab the alarm goes off. Are there any alternatives to add a reed switch to the door, or alternatively additional ultrasonic devices?

From this:
"We can supply and fit the new Cobra A4615 Motorhome Alarm at our workshop in the South West.

The price above is for supply and fitting at our Exmouth premises and includes the cobra alarm supply and installation, up to 2 external lockers protected, side caravan door / cab access doors and bonnet protection. (additional lockers are £30 each"

I would think you can.(y)

I have the same alarm but as our van is only 5.5 metres you don't have to venture far inside for the sensors to pick you up. What I dislike is the system to disarm the sensors at night when you are inside.
