I have had such good recommendations from you Funsters in the past I am back again for more! This time I want to go to Cobbold point in Felixstowe to photograph the groynes. Can anyone recommend a site close by? EHU would be useful but I am not bothered by any other facilities. Also for anyone who knows the area, is parking for a 6mtr MH easy by the beach area?

Depends what you are after, but vans do/can park on the seafront adjacent:

Thank you, that's just what I needed. I just want somewhere to park up while I take photographs.

Peewit is the only site in Felixstowe, all the others are statics only. You need to get to Undercliff road early or you may not get on, it gets very busy.
When they open the green up at Cliff top carpark that would be another option for you, (at I would guess over 7m you are too big for the tarmacked car spaces) and walk along the beach if the tide is out or.

Actually the MH is only 6 mtrs so I might sneak into a smaller space.

At far end of Cliff top on the right facing the sea you will get we do and we are 6.3m.
Just found this on the East Suffolk website:

campervan and motor caravans are permitted to use the coach bays at Garrison Lane in Felixstowe, Belvedere Road in Lowestoft and Nicholas Everitt Park in Oulton Broad.
The remaining car parks are unlined and have a natural surface. This means that larger campervans and motor caravans, when parked considerately, do not present an issue for other car park users. One of these unlined car parks, Clifflands in Felixstowe, will have a designated motor caravan parking area installed.

When they say unlined Clifflands they are referring to the green, which is accessed by a barrier at the end of the carpark currently closed for the winter.
No overnighting at any of the carparks in East Suffolk as far as I am aware.
