Just to avoid all the comedy threads, lets make clear the salient points

1) The clocks change at 2.30am on Saturday morning - not tonight as some wags would have you beleive

2) The clocks go forward one hour, again, lets ignore the comedy mnemonics like spring forward fall back.

So one hour nearer Xmas :)

Interesting article on TV this morning - moving the clocks back reduces the daylight time in the evening.

Result; kids are less active, lose fitness and put on weight.

Clocks go back not forwards giving 1 hour of extra daylight in the morning

"In the UK this year the clocks go back on October 26, making mornings slightly lighter and evenings darker.

The clocks go back one hour at 1am on the last Saturday in October, entering Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) and forward one hour at 1am on the last Sunday in March, entering British Summer Time (BST)."

It's that time of year again, Martin will spend weeks saying "it's now 4 o'clock but it's only 3 o'clock really". Drives me nuts.

Ah yes.....Dawn (Mrs D) does that as well. Drove me mad when we were at sea and the clocks were changing by an hour every night......... ;)

We did vote her as the Chairperson of the M.V. "Garinda" flat earth society. Membership - 1
