I bought a wee black clock made by the London Clock Co a few years ago. Told the man in the shop I wanted one that didn't tick, didn't glow in the dark but I could see the time by pressing a button, the backlight is just enough to make out the time...perfick!

When you find one please let me know. I've been looking for ages both battery or 12volt. I want one that I can fasten to a vertical flat surface with a backlight at night. Don't want a massive one, two or three inches across would be fine.

Me too,would love to get one you can see In the dark,maybe with orange led numerals

I did buy a little clock fro Amazon, the Acctim 15119 Vierra Alarm Clock see
Amazon product ASIN B016UFPQQGIts a good reading size when put on the kitchen worktop 68 x 108 x 48mm. The green backlight comes on when it is dark and is a soft glow.

Been away in the van and it works perfectly for what I wanted - a little expensive but there you go..
