Hi, all, does anybody on here repair clocks as a hobby or business? I recently bought a "grand-mother" chiming clock from a charity shop, not working, "it's overwound, we think", but on examining it I'm not sure, and the pendulum link thingy is broken.
I would like to have it working and would pay to get it so.
If anyone can help, or knows anyone I would appreciate it,
    TIA
    Cheers, Dave(y)
ps the movement is German FHS with 351-020 75cm stamped on it.

This place in Glasgow has a good local reputation and is always busy if you struggle elsewhere. Might be worth a wee phone call to them anyway.

I had our gmother clock serviced. It took 5 months and cost an arm and a leg - probably more than the clock was worth but it was bought by the person I was named after and it was its first service in 100 years :) It was built by one of the top end companies unfortunately they only went up market 80 years ago so while attractive and not something I would sell it is not uber valuable.

Completely at the wrong end of the country for you but these people are very good. We had a barometer repaired by them.

If you could remove the movement from your clock I guess you could courier it to them. :)
