Hi

We have an Adria Coral Supreme with an Alde heating system. We would like to sterilise the water system using puriclean.

1st time doing this, should we remove the water filter in the garage before doing this? Should we also be aware of anything that we need to do with the hot water heating before filling the water tank?

Advice would be welcome. Thanks.

Fill it up with tap water.... it works at your house and the pipes coming into your house.... chlorine and other stuff in tap water will do the job In your tanks and pipes...😁👍🏼

The water filter needs to be in place when you fill the tank or the water will just pour out of the pipe.

Here's what I do.
I fill the fresh water tank and add the puriclean. Then run all the taps on middle setting for a while to circulate the puriclean in the pipes and boiler. Turn the hot water on the high setting (it will heat water for half an hour then revert back to normal temp) Leave overnight. Then run the taps till the fresh water tank is empty then turn taps off (you will probably need to empty the waste tank during this process as it tends to have less capacity than the fresh tank) Once empty then fill up the fresh tank again and open the taps again to flush the water through the system till the tank is empty again. Then refill and you are good to go.

I use Aquatabs in the fresh water in the hope it reduces or eliminates the need to deep-clean (?). I know the chlorine in the fresh water should do that but belt 'n' braces eh!

Thanks Mr C. I take it that the water filter will not be damaged by the puriclean? Your description has been helpful.

Not as far as I know. It looked clear to me so I didn't touch it.
