What is the easy way of cleaning the roof , green and bird does ect.:(:(:(

Buy a telescopic brush and get your ladder out but protect the Moho by wrapping cloths or towels around the top of the ladder where it rests on the Moho roof edge. Use your hose to wash off all the dirt as you brush it off.

Use proper car shampoo, not washing up liquid which is bad for vehicles.

Ladder with insulation foam roll slotted and taped to the top to protect the motorhome bodywork, and a hose, bucket and microfibre cloth. Fenwicks motorhome cleaning solution, finished with Bobby Dazzler (and over wintering solution in November).

Also for additional safety I use a rubber floor mat ladder stay (purchased at Screwfix), gives much more confidence on the ladder.

I use Fenwicks motorhome cleaning solution, which I spray on all over the van, with a garden spray pump, leave for a couple of mins. Then use a sponge to remove crusty bits, you know what I mean, which the cleaning solution will have loosened rinse with fresh water job done.

I use a weak solution of Fenwicks caravan cleaning solution in a bucket, and wet the roof first with clean water with a hose, then use a long extending brush to loosen all the muck, then dip brush in the bucket and cover all the areas to get most off.
Then climb on the roof and wearing anti slip rubber deck training shoes, proceed to get all the fiddly bits off that are left that the brush cant get around.
Take the hose up onto the roof and keep water flowing, but gently, not in a blast stream and keep working the muck from front to back.
I Always wear shorts and no socks as I get soaked, and my ladder is wedged between the van roof edge and the side wall with a safe climbing angle of the bungalow ,so it is very secure and cant move.
The rest of the van ie side walls , front and rear , then needs a quick wash to remove the overflowed muck that has run down from the roof.
Do this cleaning once in early spring, and once in late autumn.
Keeps the muck down and fairly easy to keep on top of, mainly any algae build up which we get a fair bit off as the van faces a North direction.

Not so much the roof but I was fed up with all the green algae in the cracks and crevices after winter so I used this Fenwicks solution in November all over the cab and much of the roof. Cleaned it off last week with the usual car wash and then used Autoglym black streak remover (after reading the instructions for the first time) and it's come up a treat. Just to add I haven't washed the roof this time so the Fenwicks must have worked.

Yeo. Mines still on the roof from last winter. No green stuff , nice and white. Few black marks that I am sure will clean off easily once I go up . Compared to the previous five years , a real positive difference .

Wet and forget is good with keeping the mold and moss away
