Our hob has become discolored - particularly the one that is used most.

Any ideas how to clean it? I'm loath to use usual kitchen cleaners.

Best to post a picture, as it may be heat that's discoloured rather than dirt

SWMBO swears by ‘Bar Keepers Friend’. Is very effective but use in small amounts. Try on a test area first.

Hi Goldenvision.
I've used WD40 to clean all the metal parts of my cookers over the years, whether It will work on heat discolouration I'm not sure but It won't do any harm to try.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll try the WD40 first, and if that doesn't work the Bar Keepers Friend.
