Obviously they need to be kept reasonably clean to maintain efficiency but they are out of sight on top of the MH 3m from the ground so the questions are;

1. How often is often enough?
2. How do you get up there (especially if you are away for months on end If not actually full timing)?
3. How do you clean them?

My answers are
1. On an opportunity basis - see answer 2
2. Keep your eye out for a suitable embankment/split level/loading bay so you can get to them
3. Plenty of water in a pump-up sprayer and a soft bristle broom (without using undue force)

All the above also apply to the rest of the roof.

What is your answer(s) to the problem?

1. At least every 3 months - more often if they are very dirty
2. Have a telescopic ladder that I keep in the van
3. Soapy water and sponge then wipe off with micro fibre cloth
