not long enough
Had our motorhome cleaned before we went away, arrived on site and wound out awning to reveal a ‘missed bit’

think its possibly worse than normal having been stood for nearly 12 months, but something I will check more regularly 👍

Good job you noticed!

When I rolled out my awning after buying it (2nd hand, obv), half the fabric was clean and half dirty - presumably they didnt have the room to wind it out fully at the dealers when they cleaned the rest of the van.

It's taken me 3 years to get round to finishing the job as I only ever remembered when I rolled it out on-site 🤣

Shock horror, I pulled our awning out last week, we've only owned the moho for 2yrs & thats the first time I'd seen it!

It certainly does require washing & I'd have been mortified of we'd used the awning on a site.

Nah, life's too short for me to worry over what people might think about my grubby awning. If they don't like it they can move away.

Easily missed, we don't use our awning that often so hadn't noticed it was getting dirty.

Do you apply that to yourself too?

Was going to check ours a couple of weeks ago when we had a short trip but never got round to it. It's not been extended foraround 20 months!

Bringing the van home on Monday to have the cab aircon sorted so as long as it's not raining (Bank Holiday Monday? Some hope!) I'll do it then.

Nah. Au contraire; if my neighbour had a grubby awning I'd invite them across to discuss whose is the grubbiest over of a bottle of St Emilion.
I think rallies should have a 'Grubbiest Awning' award.

We bought a “porch awning” that fixes to the channel on the roll-out awning in April 2020.

It is perfectly clean as we have not been able to use it yet. :crying1:
