I'm a newbie
Have been using car wash but it not removing dead bugs from the front easily.
Is there a magic wash out there that will help get rid of dead bugs splattered over the front of motorhome.
Do have jet wash but when on full blast wont do paintwork any good.
Mrs does inside no jokes!

Soak an old towel or two in plain water and lay over the offending areas. Leave for an hour or so, and when you remove the towels, a light rub with a damp cloth will get them off in a jiffy.

many many years! since I was a kid
all the pro hand carwashes and commercial fleet operators use traffic film remover. spray on, leave 5 minutes to work and the crud just washes straight off with a hose or jet lance. about £10 a gallon

One year. A whole one!
I use Autoglym All Purpose Cleaner. It's a bit like TFR, I suppose.

You buy it on a concentrated 1 gallon container and dilute to suit. I decant into a spray bottle.

Does all sorts of things on your MH from dirty wheels, engine, carpets, toilet depending on the concentration and how filthy things are.

Great on dead bugs, too. Spray on. Wipe off.

Still only a year after many years camping
I use "Rhino Goo". http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rhino-Goo...07?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item461eb34f27

I really can't recommend it highly enough - spray on, leave 5 minutes (a quick brushing really gets the stubborn dirt off) and hose off thoroughly. Fantastic results with very little effort, and particularly so when combined with a good polymer sealant polish such as this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Caravan-P...ervan_Caravan_Accessories&hash=item1c34a90aaa :thumb:

Motorhome cleaning

Our motorhome was looking a bit grubby with all the flies etc, I used Auto Glym caravan cleaner, then bit the bullet and spent the whole day waxing it with Auto Glym resin polish as well, I did use an 1800rpm polishing machine with lambswool pad which made it a bit easier, result a gleaming van (for a while) which hopfully the bugs wont stick to so hard:Smile:
