On a serious note for a second......
I once cleaned a particularly filthy awning on our Hymer when we first got it using Biological Washing Powder... Just mixed some up in a bucket of water and scrubbed away at the fabric. Came up a treat (and smelled nice too ::bigsmile:).
Give it a go Tony and see how you get on.... Don't forget to rinse if off thoroughly though.....

Hi Tony

Well, I don't use vinegar on the awning but it cleans lime scale from kettles .. :roflmto:

Mix up a mild solution of washing up liquid and about a cupful of household bleach in a bucket.
Scrub the awning and while still wet roll it back up.
Leave for 30 mins then unroll and wash off with a hose.. Result.. awning cleaned on BOTH sides ..
