No doubt it will be yet another cost to the already stretched haulage industry.
How much blood can they extract from companies that deliver EVERYTHING we consume.

I know, like the industry is going to have recovered by then after all of this? I suppose I'll just have to go out and buy a Euro 6 motor .or pass the daily charge onto the customers when required to enter a CAZ zone.
Where do they think we get the money from to do all this? We pay £1200 VED a year and they want more?
I wonder how the CAZ zones are going to effect motorhomes?

If it's like the LEZ under 3.5 tonnes will need to be Euro 4 but over that will need to be Euro 6 or pay the charge of course.

Like all these so called "Greening" legislative edicts, This one is another that has not been thought through re; timeline. The vehicles and or indeed any steps needed to be taken to comply are currently either not yet available or still so new that they are ridiculously expensive. The UK is a pathetically minor contributor to so called global warming, but we are being abused as citizens in order to appear to be "world leading". My view is and remains, that until the major contributors, China, Russia, India, etc; and the countries in South America stop burning an area the size of Wales very day, WE are wasting our time energy and finances in this.

The trouble is the cost to small firms does not add up, so then a big firm will do it for nothing to crush the opposition. Then the big firm is in money trouble and goes to the banks etc saying it has to restructure its debts and if it doesn’t it will affect a lot of firms relying on it to transport its goods.

Not quite right that
