Well apart from those who don't like the red alert flash '\

We finished it less than a week ago, over 20 items sold already, 83 open adverts and the adverts have been clicked on and opened over 18300 times. And not a single thread cluttering our thread list in the process. (y) When I open it up to our advertisers and allow them to add half a dozen of their best deals then I think it will be a great little resource. I'm pleased with it.
 
Bugger, I`m showing another 12. and I "read" them only this morning. :rofl:

Personally I believe it should be white numbers with a white background, or black numbers on a black background, but maybe that's me thinking outside the box.

Just a thought for when you open up for dealer adverts, any chance of some filters? Private/Trade or Van/other stuff?

Really nice addition though, I mooch about on plenty of other forums and this is easily the nicest (& friendliest)

Great addition Jim, I no longer have to scroll down the index to get the classifieds and can see at a click on the red square as to what is new
 
I noticed it, but the red box has never bothered me and I think the new way of doing this works, I like it.
 
Yes great section, I have today picked up another bit of someone else's clobber they didn't need and probably I don't need. All because they lived just down the road. Oh well met another Funster face to face (2m apart) and had a good chat.

(y) I used it yesterday to put my bike up for sale. I found it a bit tricky because it was all new to me but got there in the end. It was all the stuff that came up at the beginning to place the add that was a bit confusing for me. But I got some pm messages so it must be ok.

Every time I went into the old 'classified' section, I would always have missed the item I was looking for. This is a great addition and I have already bought a couple of 11kg Gaslow bottles.

Thanks Jim for your constant improvements.
 
I think the new "Classifieds" is brilliant Jim (y).... the only part I find annoying and unnecessary is having to double click to mark items as "Read".

Never really looked at the classifieds before, now I look every day and the the little red flag keeps me informed of how many I haven't looked at yet ;-)

Click on word Classifieds drop down box opens and go to bottom, press the word ’Read’ then the red box clears

Yes that has been mentioned before but when a new add is put in classifieds the red flag comes back.
