Anybody going to the Classic TT next week, we are off on Friday,(stupid o'clock) to catch the 11.15 am ferry from Liverpool, 6 of us going , my NTV 650 will probably be the slowest bike there, staying in a B&B in Castletown until Sunday 3rd September, really looking forward to this trip as I havn't been the the IOM in years, (Hislop winning on Norton)!!
Hope that the weather is kind to us.

We have been to The TT four, maybe five times since 2005 always enjoyed it, but would like to try the Manx, just too many other things to do.

Enjoy and ride safe

Not this year but definitely next year. We take the van with a little bike on the back and park up in Mooragh park.
You'll be surprised how cheap it is for a MoHo - even compared to the price of you and a motorbike
I love the Manx and the Classic TT has made it even better. Love the return of the two strokes and Sunday at Jurby.

Say hello to the fairies for me on your way to Castletown.

We did think about going over in my mates van with 3 bikes in the back, around £300 I think, I paid £250 for myself and bike, a rip off, but what can you do!.
We will be watching all the races, I'm especially looking forward to the 250 two strokes again, proper racing bikes, no super sport, super stock etc blah blah, yawn.

We used to pay around £305 for the wife and me plus bike.
Last year we paid £308 for the wife and me plus bike ---- AND a bloody great MoHo???
It also seems prices for MoHo's are treated as cars, but all vans are treated as commercial so are double the price.
Put a couple of windows in that tranny and call it a MoHo?

For a good few years we have taken three bikes in the van, just so easy and split everything three ways, diesel, ferry the lot, problem is my bike is always bigger than the two classics so involves removing handlebars etc.
Still hoping to take my old '69 MZ ES 250/2 next year if I can finish the restoration in time, two stroke fun :dance2:.

Yes we get priority booking so choose our crossings, sadly my best mate for 40 years' wife has dementia so we can normally only go for ten days now but Marshall every race day and sometimes get a practice day in also.
Not sure if we get any reduction as I just ask Roy how much I owe him as they have proper vintage bikes so I just chuck mine in the van as well.
I rode his Norton International,ex racer over there this year, what a bike.
My 250 MZ is same colour as your Wankel in the picture.
It needs modern throttle cabling and linkage plus new silent block on the engine, some modern tyres and a few more bits but shouldn't take long, when life gives me time to do it.
Recently they have been short of marshalls for the Manx, that's why hoping to do that next year also.
Enjoy.
