city centre motorhome parking (1 Viewer)

Does anybody else have this happen.

We park up outside a tourist town or city and find our way by bike or public transport into the city. When we get there we will invariably come across a parking area with lots of camper vans.

It seems everybody else has these as a POI from somewhere but I sure don't know how they get it.

All tips and clues greatly appreciated.
