All the gear, and no idea!
Hi all, what’s it like getting to the tunnel these days, are there any hold ups/roadworks that I should be aware of?
We’re leaving sunny Yorkshire at 5.00pm Wednesday afternoon for the 11.20pm train and we’re hoping it’s a straight run as it was last December 🤞🤞

The M20 yesterday looked chaotic on the news this morning. Someone had only travelled from Maidstone and it had taken 7 hours to get to the port of Dover.

Wow, that’s not good!! It’s showing as 3:41hrs for us as of now so I’m hoping it’s calmed down a bit😳😳
Is Operation Brock still in place and do you just go sailing by the lorries to get off at ET junction?

Think you'll be OK by Wednesday. This weekend was manic as it's the start of the school half term holidays. Operation Brock is still in place but it's only lorries which need to go into the coned area. Everyone else uses the contraflow.

It was, half term travel, and also a problem with loads of Liverpool supporters travelling over for the game in Paris yesterday evening.

We came to the tunnel on the 15th and never see a lorry, the tunnel was also very quiet as probably a dozen or so vehicles in the bays waiting for the train.

We came back from Europe yesterday early afternoon on Eurotunnel. Big queues of at least 1m for tunnel check in, operation Brock in force with about 15 miles of lorries. Suggest allow plenty of time.

Travelled down to Canterbury Park and Ride last tue, from Derbyshire,,clear all the way.Tunnel wed morning,,again clear,,Put on earlier train.BUSBY.

Shouldn't be in place with p&o running empty boats. They should be told every empty unsold space you have you are taking a lorry for free.
To prevent them failing to do so,take a charge on all management staff and board member properties, bank accounts, anything owned, including all family children , parents, grandparents, remove passports, etc; until all back to normal.

M20 live cameras....

Looking OK currently...

They look like still images but should refresh periodically. Note the date/time stamp top rhs.

If you want to refresh the image, don't press the refresh symbol as it asks you to subscribe... simply use the previous/next button to take you to the next camera then back.

We're traveling from Milton Keynes to Whitby the same afternoon I'm wondering if there might be quite a bit of traffic with the long bank holiday starting the next day.

You can’t seriously want to allow a government to have and use such powers. Where would it stop? Eventually everything you own, everything your family own, would become theirs if you didn’t do exactly what they told you to do. Value your freedom as it is being eroded, stand up for your freedom but also stand up for others freedom before its too late.

Cant say for departing but came back on train on monday, 9am.
Train was nearly empty. Sailed through customs etc.
M20, M26, M40 all quiet both directions.
Trip up north excellent now M6 fully open.
All in all, 5 hours from calais to Manchester.
