We really want to spend next New Year (possibly Christmas too) overseas in the snow. 
Neither us nor our two daughters, who will be 4 & 7, have skiied before and would be looking for somewhere with a few easy runs (we've decided we'll have some lessons at the Snowdome). We'd also like to stay on a campsite with other activites (ice skating, toboganning etc) nearby.
We've been looking at "Motorhome Meets Skiing" and L'escale campsite in Le Grand Bornand seems to match what we're after. Has anybody stayed here over the festive period? If so, do you think we'd be ok as a family staying here? Also does the site serve meals on Christmas day and New Years Eve?
Oh and nearly forgot have we overlooked any other destination that would be suitable?
