Only put chocolate in the fridge during hot weather, which is unlikely at Easter in the UK. ;)

All foodstuffs have reduced flavour when served at refrigerator temperature.

Having said that, I prefer cold milk straight from the fridge on cereals. (y)

With Easter coming up (chocy weekend) 😊 . Where do you prefer to keep your chocolate in the fridge or in a cupboard.

I prefer the fridge myself chocolate nice and hard and good snap when you break a piece or two off.

Happy Easter everyone 😊 .

As a kid it was always Cadbury's Dairy Milk out the fridge, served with a cold glass of milk. It lasted longer in the mouth, and tasted fantastic.
Nowadays it all depends on the Chocolate, some like coming from the fridge, others like Lindt with soft canters are better straight out the box. Not that I see many before all her favourites have gone 1st!
PS: those little sweet wrappers get lost everywhere, I always find one inside or under the sofa when I move it to hoover the carpet!:swear:

Absolute beginners.
Unless it’s so hot it’s going to melt, the cupboard every time. It doesn’t taste nearly as good from the fridge to my tastebuds 😊
That is a scientifically proved fact, but when I was allowed chocolate I enjoyed it more the colder it was. It would warm up once in your mouth.

I didn’t know the science, although I know I have a pretty decent palate. It’s a debate my husband and I have had numerous times as he prefers it from the fridge but I do not enjoy it nearly as much until it’s warmed up if it has to come from the fridge.

A mars bar might be the best exception as I enjoy the caramel from the fridge.

Management put a Yorkie bar in the fridge thinking it would stop it melting. It certainly didn’t melt but she broke her thumb nail badly trying to beak it.

Easy. Buy so much that it is impossible to eat it all. Fridge is then the obvious storage for choc, with the possible exception of Flakes as they crumble to powder when too cold.

I like that idea, will try it next time we go shopping. I once was given as presents 17 family bars of chocolate on my birthday but that morning I was notified I was borderline diabetic. I was gutted but I knew I needed to get them out the house so I took them to the local food bank, it still hurts but at least hopefully I will have cheered a few people up.
