A mate of mine put one in his narrowboat for those days he doesn't want to light the log burner, works well, he tells me.

I have one in my fifth wheel. It works a treat, better than the Eberspacher original ones costing 10 times more. Mine keeps a 28ft 3 slideout fifth wheel warm, so ina European motorhome it will cope easily.

Mate fitted one in his N&B. Really rates it for the money, he is chuffed with his.

Has a timer on the stat and everything.

Just to add to my last post, my mate said it was a bit more noisy than his last erber, I believe there is a silencer for the exhaust (which is in the OP), there is also a silencer available for the air intake which works well. I'm feeding you secondhand information, I've not seen it or heard it.

I've fitted around 6 heaters including My own van.
5KW and 8KW produce the same heat output.
LCD controller display will slowly fade over time { as most lights do }. Replacement LCD controller around £10.
Pump does tick but hang from a tie wrap and it lessens the thud.
Lots of advice on youtube, fitting, faults etc
Had a few heaters just blowing cold air. Temperature sensor faults.
Different size fuel tanks available eg, 5L, 7L 10L or 15L or plumb in to your main diesel fuel tank with a dip tube.
Heater draws 10A @ 12V or 24V when turning on and turning off to light the glow plug.
Uses around 1/4L of diesel an hour on full.
8C to 35C temperature range or use Hertz to select fuel delivery instead of degrees C.
Heater can be fitted with exhaust pipes down or horizontally as long as the glow plug is upper most.
Lagging exhaust advised as it becomes very hot. Exhaust silencer has small drain holes at bottom.
Exhaust must be fitted with a slope downwards or will fill with condensation.
Remote battery is 12V A27 size.
***Heater cycles ON and Cycles OFF { to cool itself down }.***
Don't kill the 12V power on a hot heater or it will melt inside.
Power source needs to be a 12V battery with a solar panel or intelligent battery charger not just a 240V mains power supply.
Bench test the heater before fitting to your van to make sure that it works.

Yes, It's a Chinese Diesel Air heater kit.
You can buy an 'All in ONE' heater kit in a box ready assembled.
Just need to vent the fumes outside.

Have a look at this thread.

I have a 2Kw one fitted. Brilliant .extremely quiet far more so than my mates eberspacher complete with both silencers which I could hear through my 17" house walls the other week.
