i think i was being fair in only saying what i did due to the fact i didnt stay there but if you want it blunt then its reminded me of a bloody Itinerant site and a stack and rack em site or you can park i n the field if you can hack your way through it more bluntly if you want its a bloody dump
I fully agree with what you are saying but I suspect the weather at the time had not been good and because of the state of the field more units than normal would have been using the hard standing area leading to overcrowding. This is not a good situation and needs managing.
A lot of work has been done to the site in the past, when we first looked at the site in March last year the grass on the touring part of the site had been been mown, the sun was out and everything was dry, the place was tidy and everything seemed very pleasant indeed.
Since then there seems to have been a general lack of maintenance, admittedly the weather at certain times has not helped, combined with overcrowding on the hard standing area has led to the rather squalid feel of the place now.
The site has tremendous potential as a small CL type site and it would be a shame to see all the hard work that has been put into the place go to waste. That is only my opinion of course, others may see it has 'Rural & Rustic', laid back and relaxed.
I do not make these comments with any malice and I hope that Lesley and Andrew take these comments as constructive criticism. My views are not everyone's and if trade is good then there are obviously enough others with different expectations to me.
