Hi Geoff, bit late i know but just seen your thread. Did you try the connections behind the remote panel and the main unit in the cupboard, sometimes they loose their connections and removing and replacing makes the contact. If you did contact Sargents or get it fixed what actually was wrong just in case i have similar problem. Regards Luke
