Can anyone help me?

(1984 auto 5.7 with AC, in a G30) no idea if federal, california etc

I am putting carb back on engine, (think I have all front carb pipework done..)

and the rather short instructions I made are proving very little help putting some of the vac pipes back on engine/carb :(

in particular, there is a double vacuum pipe coming from thermo switch on thermostat housing. This pipework I have left quite complete.

So, two pipes from themo unit, both go into an inline valve (valve has a blackside and a redside)

#pipe from redside goes to another inline valve (black side and yellow side) - where now, distributor advance?

#pipe from black side splits into two, one of the two pipes has a brass inline device, where does this pipe end up?
Other pipe has another 'T' and then also goes to some unknown place..

Another Vac Pipe come from gearbox valve under chassis... Looks like valve also has kickdown cable going into it, where does this vac pipe terminate, topside?

Any ideas on outputs on charcoal cannister?

Second (rear) 'hot-air' pipe from exhaust manifold area.. (first pipe does hot air choke) - could this second one be something to do wth charcoal cann?

there are 2 carb outlets visible on back of carb (upper and lower)..also.. there is an electric solenoid with a possible 2/3 inlets/outlets.

Somewhere I need to reconnect the vacuum gauge

thats most of the remaining ;)

wish i had taken more care when disassembling :(

any help with anything would eliminate a few pipes...

 I was told some years ago by an RV Specialist, that they usually disconnected all the pipes altogether.

 However. This might be of assistance:-

I have that diagram in my manual, one of about 130 different emmision pics .. !

anyway, mine is illegable! so many thanks, am here now with yours on screen and the engine just nearby.

yep happily disconnect anything I can .. already ditched the AIR system.. its just that some of these missing vacs look useful for idle speeds and so on..

cheers again
