I don’t think anyone has a white board, but we will provide an itinerary on paper as people arrive

Glad you joined us. To join the funster section at the food festival you need to be a paid up member. MotorhomeFun are not the organisers of the festival and details of what’s happening in Chester will have to be found on their website.
We will be having a marquee where we will be putting on entertainment, games etc.
Having joined MF it will open various areas of the website to you, have a mooch about, click on all the tabs and you will find a wealth of information. If I tag you like @pete n sharon you will get an alert in the top right of the page.
Myself and @Mrs Badknee @Mr Chrysalis @Chrysalis @Conal are marshalls so if we can help just give us a shout (y)
We have booked paid , and filled in the form on here , can u just confirm that you got it ( newbie ) many thanks

There’s no problem with that from Motorhome Fun. I don’t think that the festival will mind either, but not sure if there will be anywhere for them to park. Will you be going to get them and take them back, or would they bring their own car? I’ll check with the organisers. Carol do you know from past history?

Not sure if they are coming or not just thought I would ask before they decide. If they do come I know more tickets will have to be bought, it was just the evening entertainment in the tent i wanted to ask about.
Thanks Gail x

Gail just across the road from the camping is Roo Dee car park which is very vrry reasonable ... they may prefer to park on there than the car park at the Food Fest .. but you need to check prices of car park on line to see if it worth it. X

Hi @Annie21220 your son would need to join motorhome Fun then of course he could camp, it's because of the insurance with motorhome fun, other than that he would be very welcome.

@Oscar I'd just ring and ask to speak to Briony say your camping with Motorhome fun and ask if there is a discount if you can't find the other one.

Living the dream.
Questions have been asked about what’s going on at the rally and we are working things out as I type.
So far we have decided on.

Thursday arrive and set up, marquee open for a natter.
Friday evening quiet music in the marquee so you can socialise.
Saturday night a food table, please bring some food to share and your own plate and cutlery. Perhaps a quiz.
Sunday could be kareoke if we can source the kit as we don’t have any at the moment or maybe bingo/play your cards right.

In previous years there has been a trip into Chester to sample the beers in local establishments (ok a pub crawl) this may happen this time too. (y)

I haven’t been to the food festival weekend before but have been to Chester and it is a vibrant city steeped in history where I am sure your days will pass all too quickly.

In addition to the things Paul has listed, @Janine has kindly agreed to organise a pub crawl on the Friday evening, and we will arrange timings for the Saturday evening Jacob’s Table ( = Bring and share) followed by Bingo/Quiz nearer the time. If we don’t find anyone with Karaoke equipment, Sunday evening in the marquee will be socialising time too. We are also trying to arrange a guided walk of Chester.

None of this year’s Marshalls have been to the Chester Food Festival before, but @Carol and Funsters who have been previously tell us that some Funsters enjoy organised activities in the marquee during the day. We have the marquee for the whole weekend so would welcome any Funsters organising any activities or entertainment that they think groups would enjoy. All we ask is that you let us know beforehand so that we can try to ensure your events do not clash, and we can publicise it to everyone. I believe that in the past there have been Easter Bonnet parades, Cake decorating, egg hunts and live music.
