    Close to London and set on the banks of the Thames.

    Convenience store across the road.

    Two pubs within 200 yards.

    Lovely gentle walk along the banks of the Thames to a decent pub at Hampton Lock.

    I usually can't remember the walk back::bigsmile:

    Agree with all you say. A lovely site.
    But woe betide you if you pitch off centre, maybe I was there on a bad day.

    The pub/hotel next door (Bridge Hotel) offers something like a 30% discount on food for those staying at the campsite. Ask about it at the camp reception.

    We thought it was a good deal - we had our young family living in London come and meet us there for a meal. There's plenty of car parking at the hotel. :thumb:

    True, but they have refurbished it recently and it hasn't really worked.

    The discount applies to the beer as well but it is over priced to start with
