Our plate is only special to us, it has the wife’s initials, the motorhomes year and my initials and it only cost £250 from the DVLA site. Means nothing to anyone who sees it but a nice touch for us. (y)
Indeed and that's what is most important

My car is now a cherished number in reverse.
I call it Johnny Peanut. The reg is KP ** JHY or I suppose it should be Peanut Johnny but that's nuts.

The allocated new number was awful from Huddersfield dealer list, so I said no I will get one for it. Bought G.D. ,me 16,year and FUN .it looked ok but my wife said it should have been GD15SAD but I think I could be FUN, if she only let me. cost £200 or so and included the fee for registration. It is unfortunately a bit memorable sometimes by the wrong people.

Predictive text keeps putting good as good everytime I write it down,, I had a load of trouble trying to get i right on my Crit' air application. It is doing it again needs full stops G.D.

So what is your plate? Come on, I'm dying to know now
It's BB57JMB. It means little or nothing to anybody but us but it relates to our surname, Janets initials and a little tribute to her late parents, it cost next to nothing and it prompts special memories.

My BIL used to have a wedding car business. He had an old Rolls Royce with the plate MEU *** and an old Merc with UME ***.
He added an & to each plate so it read:
U&ME
ME&U
He stopped doing it 25 years ago when the police stopped him and charged him:
£30 for incorrect spacing on front plate
£30 for use of a non-alphabetical letter on the front plate
.. and the same for the back plate

so its not your surname as your surname has no 1 in it. How does C1FTN = clifton

What are they worth = nothing :LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:
Crikey - picky or what :Eeek: Some people like cherished number plates....... some people like Autotrails ...... each to their own, but no need to verge on the offensive.

No offence intended hence the smiley's
My idea of a smiley is :)
My idea of tongue in cheek (if that was what your comment was) is ;)

So ;) would have been much better than  in my view, but everything’s fine if no offence was intended (y)
