I am in good company then, I think a few of us are have been banned from the Belly Locker and u shaped lounge, as far as I can tell I was not rude, abusive, or insulting either. I think that sometimes text is flat and without intonation or ebb and flow of live conversation meanings can be taken wrongly (doesn't matter how right or wrong you are) I guess with so many members it is hard for an Admin to review an incident with an individual and sets a global rule that means a transgressing individual can get banned without realising why (I know ignorance is no excuse). Overall I think the site is run well and quite orderly.

Yes, I guess that trying to monitor this site would be a full time job for a team of people. I'm guessing that unless the supreme beings are watching a particular thread, they rely to some extent on someone ringing the "Report" bell to draw attention to anything they think is untoward.

I think your right, at first when I realised I was banned, I was going to leave the site......But what if, just what if my post had really upset someone and my intention is not to do this then maybe my removal from both belly locker and u shaped lounge may have been justified (even if I don't understand). So after a bit of reflection, I thought maybe I should make a gesture of support and pay for the life membership because the site is actually well run and cannot be cheap to maintain, I hope I don't get banned from the site but who knows what the future holds.

Not so much a “phwoar” type of imagination (with either of you) but more of “which famous figure would probably enjoy it” imagination. My money was on the late Mr. Mosley of Motor racing fame. OK maybe just a little bit, but being slightly dead sort of cuts any enjoyment out of something anyway
