Checking Solar panel out put

Hi how can I check my solar panel out put with a multi meter. My controller has no numbers just lights.

Today in Lancashire 50/50 cloudy sunny my 100w panel, when connected to the leisure battery is sourcing 1.8A and the battery charged from 12.4v 13.2v.
For voltage switch the meter to dc volts, connect the red lead to + on the battery and the black lead to - on the battery.
For current, switch the meter to dc I, disconnect one of the solar panel leads and put the meter in the circuit.
