Sorry if this has been covered before, but I haven't seen it.
I was checking through my policy for something totally unrelated and came across this info which I thought might be useful to some out there.
I was particularly thinking about this thread that had recently been posted.
http://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/threads/a-frames-are-now-approved-in-france.140378/

Anyway, the info is as follows:
Revised Definition-Trailer-This definition has been amended in the policy and now reads:

Any one trailer/car towing device owned and used solely in connection with Your Motorhome other than:
A mechanically propelled vehicle whether it can be driven or not
A horsebox trailer
A caravan
An A-frame or dolly

This is with Caravan Guard and is my most recent policy, ie, this years.
I don't A-frame but I have a trailer which carries either my m/bike or traction engine.

Now, where did I put that tin hat :cooler:

What's the deal? Are they agreeing that an a-frame is a trailer?

I believe that the deal is that you aren't insured if you use an A frame and tow any mechanically propelled vehicle with it.
That's how it reads to me anyway.

Others may have a different take on it, but it seems pretty clear to me.
