In case you didn't know.

This is the time of year they look for somewhere warm to rest out the winter. They stain things and you will find them flying around inside your van for the rest of the year, which is particularly irritating in the evening when you are watching TV :p

We get alot of ladybirds in the summer where we are campsite wardens in Lechlade and when we over winter in spain they come out again

The worst infestation of ladybirds that we have encountered - dozens of them - was when we were camped by our boat at Radcot, near Lechlade.

For the last two or three years we had them overwintering in the window frames of the house and any other crevis they could find, dozens of them from late summer on.
This year we`ve hardly seen any, thankfully.

Also check the seals for sea gulls and eagles
They make a hellova mess AND, like lady birds, can be very annoying flying round the van when you are trying to watch telly !!
